What smells so good?? – Part II November 19, 2009

Well, what could have smelt so deliciously good than…

*Drums roll*

…treats! Not just any treats but treats air-flown from Japan! Courtesy of AUNTIE SHARON, Tootsie’s Mummy, who had gone there for a holiday and had kindly brought back some of the goodies for us.

Japan Goodies!!!

We’re sharing all those goodies with Tootsie so everything is halved. *grr* She was saying that the dogs living in Japan sure are lucky to enjoy those many variety of treats. Even the normal milk bolos that she buys for us here comes in  different sizes and many, many favours in Japan! (eg, black sasame, yam, blueberry etc)

Apparently, she was telling us that in Japan, doggy bakery and cafes are very common. Dogs and their owners can purchase lots and lots of delicious baked treats easily! *drools*

How I wish I could make a trip down to this Japan to visit those places myself. Wonder if it is far??

Anyway, Auntie Sharon must be out of her mind because not only those bolos and cookies, she also bought dried treats of tofu, carrots and veggies! Urgh, urgh! I’m letting the loony poodle to finish those treats!

She tried some of the treats and declared that most tasted like those malt candy for humans.

Most liked treats for human and dogs?? The blueberry bolos! She reckoned REAL blueberries were gone into making them since its not only crunchy and a nice shade of purple, one could see specks of blueberry purple on the bolo.

Hang on, if the treats are halved, Tootsie gets half of the treats, and while we TWO dogs are sharing the other half, its not that fair, isnt it? I do know my maths, you know!

Urm, maybe we could ALL move to Japan to get unlimited bolos??

Lele Says 4.0: Its MY day! November 18, 2009

08/11/07…pretty and happy me arrived into this world! Now…TWO years later, I’m celebrating MY barkday!!! *wag-wag*

On the morning I got up, my pack all came to give me kisses and say,’ Happy Barkday, Lele! You are a big girl now!’ That made me so so SO happy!!!!

After that…we got into the car. I got to sit in front! It was a sunny day and she says first stop: to pick a cakie for me!

She called me 'Lele!' from behind...

Unfortunately, the cafe that sells the nice cheesecake has sold out all the cakies…so we went to another bakery for dogs. Lucky stayed in the car while I went down w my mummy and she to chose my cakie!

Cakies are inside the fridge!!!

After that, we went Vivocity…she said that was where we (humans and dog) first met. I went to walk around the shopping centre and also have a run around the dogrun.

When we went home and have our din-din…she say its time for CAKIE!!!

So she dressed me up in my pinky dottie dress and also put on my pinkie ribbons on my ears.

Drink Better II November 11, 2009

Alrighty…our waterer arrived last week and after a few days of training we’re trained to drink from Catit. And yes, we are drinking MORE after the Catit has arrived, which is something she’s happy about.

I prefer to drink from the side of the dome so I tend to get some bits of my fur wet. The loony poodle prefers to drink from the middle where the water spurts out…so no wet beard issues with her.

This is a newer model as compared to the previous post’s picture of the Catit. Same function as the first one except the drinking dome is perhaps smaller.

She’s going to try taking a video of one of us drinking from it. Stay tune!

Drink better November 2, 2009

In her attempts to get us to drink water (we hardly drink at home, actually) at home, she’s getting us a drinking fountain.

Its believed that dogs, like our wolves ancestors, prefer fresh moving water over still water. She’s

guessing that this is the reason for us that our water bowl is hardly being touched.

Besides, she touched the human’s water fountain (that’s for display purposes only, not for us to drink!) accidentally one day and realised the moving water is actually much cooler. She feels that the same theory will apply to a drinking fountain.

There’s a few models of drinking fountains to chose for in the market and she’s chosen for us…the Catit water dome! Apparently she doesnt wants such a big drinking fountain. Also, she wants us to drink directly from moving water instead of still water, and the Catit is the only model she finds that does not have a bowl attached.

The water fountain should be on the way to our house sometime this week. And meanwhile, here’s the related links for the water drinking fountain:

Lele Says 3.0: Bitch’s Way to eating a Oxtail Bone October 21, 2009

She say to have sparkly white teeth, I must clean my teeth using oxtail bones. Oh those are delicious! However, they are also very yucky! So the correct way to eat them is only to bite them…but do NOT use your paws to touch it If not, those dainty little paws will stink!
